Just over five years ago, I was scrolling online when a song stopped me in my tracks.
It was one of those songs you don’t just hear, you feel. I listened to the entire thing, saved it, and before I knew it, it became the soundtrack to a season of life we were all trying to make sense of. It landed in my top five most-played songs of 2021. I even reached out to the band to tell them how incredible it was.
Fast forward five years, and Yassin reached out to Connor and I to capture his wedding day here in Prince Edward County. And as it turns out, the song that once stopped me mid-scroll… is the very same song that brought him and his now-wife together!
From the moment we arrived at Compass Rose, everything felt intentional and full of heart. The soft countryside backdrop, the warm textures of the barn, and the glow of the greenhouse created a setting that felt effortlessly romantic.
