From Rigaud to Santorini

Amel and I started chatting back in March about her wedding in Quebec at the end of July. She was getting married at Le Café de l'Horloge, a picturesque venue set right in the countryside. When we finally met in person, everything just clicked. She was such a fun and relaxed bride who just wanted to enjoy her day with the people she loved. At the end of the night when we were saying our goodbyes, she mentioned her and husband Kostas were heading out to Greece the next week. I WAS GOING TO GREECE THEN TOO. What were the odds!? We figured out we were going to overlap in Santorini so we obviously had to meet up!

second shooter @mick_media Fast forward two weeks later… we were in Santorini. They picked me up at my hostel and we headed to Megalochori, a small village in Santorini to take some photos. Once we were walking through the narrow white streets, I realized this town was totally different from the other towns in Santorini. I don't know how else to describe the view, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

That night, we grabbed a few drinks then headed out to an open air club in Fira called Koo Club. It was unreal. This is just another example of why I love what I do, it allows me to meet incredible people and document it every step of the way. I will never forget this amazing experience and I'm forever grateful to Amel & Kostas for making that day/night the highlight of my trip.
