Karen & Alec chose La Petite Chapelle for their big day! It truly is a one-of-a-kind venue with original hardwood floors, stained glass windows and amazing natural light! Originally built in 1851, it's been updated with a modern, Scandinavian aesthetic. K+A went the more traditional route and decided to wait until the ceremony to see each other and was that ever emotional! They both read letters from each other in the morning which is a great alternative to a first look and such a great keepsake that you can look back on! Karen did choose to have first looks with her brother, bridal party, mother-in-law, and parents! The ceremony and reception both took place on site at La Petite Chapelle however, we headed to the beautiful Stone Brooke Farms for Karen & Alec's couple portraits, family and wedding party photos. One of my favourite reception moments was when Karen & her Grandpa surprised all the guests with a special dance and it's safe to say there wasn't a dry eye in the room!
This entire day was so beautifully put together and I'm so grateful they chose me to capture these memories for them!
